I have just started having Oats So Simple for breakfast and I think it’s worth a mention as its so convenient and of course healthy.
You can buy it in different box sizes which are filled with sachets each sachet is filled with the oats and is also used to measure the milk, this to me is the key thing as its no mess, no hassle and you know your getting perfectly made porridge every time.
So you get your bowl and empty the sachet into it and then fill the sachet up with milk and pour that in and put it in the microwave for 2 minutes and that’s it.
You may find it looks a little lumpy as the oats are still expanding but just give it a stir and by the time its cool enough to eat you’ll be rocking!
Another great thing about them is the size, I have 20 of them right now in my desk at work so every morning a can make one up before I start.
You may look at the size of the portions and think no way but once its actually made its a good size and with it being high protein and quite a heavy food it fill your up nicely and keeps you full also.
I have started with original and honey so far and I’m really impressed with the tastes, even the original is really nice an I haven’t needed to add and sugar or jam or anything else and its fine!
Strange really as I have always needed to add something to sweeten it up but maybe that comes down to how much milk I’v added in the past or maybe these are just new recipes?
