The first 2 days of the project I missed breakfast and although the last few days I have been ill I have still tried to keep up with eating healthy. (sadly not the training due to my man flu)
I’m not an early bird and all I want to do on a morning is sit wondering to myself why the hell I’m up this early.
What Iv been doing is preparing my breakfast the night before. I know it’s not a hard task but I just find it easier on a morning having things already done for me.
So, before I go to bed I fill the kettle pull out a cup, green tea and a bowl with three/four tablespoons of porridge oats in there ready so in the morning all I need to do is flick the kettle on and pour, the porridge just needs a 30 second blast in the microwave.
I mostly eat it plain but sometimes I’ll add a bit of cinnamon. Even when I decide to have an orange I will peel it the night before. Its just about being prepared, it’s hard enough to train and eat well everyday so try make it as easy as possible for yourself.
This goes for other meals too, but it’s breakfast that I struggle with most. Some will cook a whole weeks worth of meals all in one go so it’s ready when needed.
Well it’s near bed time now so must dash I have a breakfast to prepare :))
